Explore the art, history, and culture of African Americans-with an emphasis on California and the West-at the California African American Museum (CAAM). Five spacious galleries offer a wide range of exhibitions, featuring dynamic works by some of America’s most acclaimed visual artists, insightful examinations of important figures and historic moments, and contemporary works by local artists who are integral to Los Angeles’ vibrant cultural landscape of today.
Admission to all exhibitions and public programs is free and open to the public. Free admission to the Hammer Museum is made possible through the generosity of Erika J. Glazer and Brenda R. Potter. Convenient parking is available under the museum. Rates are $6 for the first three hours with museum validation, and $3 for each additional 20 minutes, with a $20 daily maximum. There is a $6 flat rate after 6 p.m. on weekdays, and all day on weekends. Parking is cash only.

Providing an experience unlike any other, LA Plaza's interactive exhibits and dynamic programs invite visitors to explore as well as contribute to the ongoing story of Mexican Americans in Los Angeles and beyond.
Located near the site where Los Angeles was founded in 1781, LA Plaza's 2.2-acre campus includes two historic and newly renovated buildings (the Vickrey-Brunswig Building and Plaza House) surrounded by 30,000 square feet of public garden. LACMA Free youth membership for children ages 17 and under. NexGen members receive free entry to the museum, can bring one adult guest for free general admission, and get discounts on classes and camps. Children ages 13 and up are able to visit the museum without an adult.
