This is a biographical program about César E. Chávez who dedicated three decades of his life to the fight against injustices of migrant farm workers in the U.S. It discusses his founding of the United Farm Workers organization which allowed workers to bargain for improved working conditions for the first time. Also available in Spanish.

Outlines the history of the United Farm Workers of America and the role played by its founder, César Chávez; describes working conditions in the nation's strawberry fields and the struggle to unionize that industry.

c1992, 13 minutes
In the latter days of his activism, Chavez turned his Farm Workers Union towards a fight against pesticides in agriculture; this film was produced to inform the public about these issues and is a good primary source for the study of Chavez’ movement.
