The 30th Annual Bookmark Contest is here! This year's theme is Books and Beyond! ~ ¡Libros y el Mas Allá! Submit your entry beginning September 8, 2009. Participate in these categories:
Kindergarten – Grade 2
Grades 3 – 5
Grades 6 – 8
Grades 9 – 12 New!
Library winners will be announced November 9-13, 2009. Grand prize winners will be announced February 2010. See last year's winners.

Contest Rules
- Draw a design about books or reading.
- Artists must be in Kindergarten through 12 grades, or between the ages of 5 through 18 years old.
- Artists must live in Los Angeles County.
- Bookmarks are judged on creativity, originality and neatness.
- Designs must be the original work of the artist.
- Please, no cartoon characters or color drawings.
- Limit one entry per person.
- Entries become the property of the County Library.
