YOUTH SERVICES in the COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES PUBLIC LIBRARY is designed to meet the
educational and recreational reading and informational needs of young people within
a highly diverse public. Through a network of community-focused libraries our expert
staff provides reading motivation and opportunities for the pursuit of knowledge in
a welcoming environment. We offer a broad and relevant collection of print and nonprint
materials to meet the changing developmental needs of young people. Youth Services is
in the business of serving the library user of today while developing the library
customer of tomorrow.
