County Library Goes WiFi |

The County of Los Angeles Public Library now provides free wireless internet access. WiFi (Wireless Fidelity) service enables County library cardholders who own Internet ready laptop computers to use these devices in their local County libraries to connect to the Internet and use the Library’s broad range of online resources. Users will need a WiFi-compliant 802.11a, b or g wireless Ethernet device installed in their laptop or have a laptop with built-in WiFi capability and Java -enabled Internet browser (i.e. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Netscape.)
