La Crescenta Library to Close for Construction of New Library

The La Crescenta Library will close for construction of a new library beginning Monday, September 17. The last day of service to the public is Saturday, September 15. It is anticipated that the library will reopen in September 2009.
The La Crescenta Library will be replaced by a new 15,000 square foot, two-story library which includes a community meeting room, study rooms and wireless Internet access. The project is being funded by Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich with additional funding from Congressman David Dreier, 26th Congressional District.

In addition, beginning Friday, October 5, library staff will present Toddler and Preschool Storytime at Crescenta Valley Park in La Crescenta.
