Gardena Mayme Dear Library Celebrates Grand Reopening |

The Gardena Mayme Dear Library, 1731 W. Gardena Blvd, Gardena celebrates the grand reopening of the library on Monday, January 26 at 3:00 p.m. The festivities will include storytelling and entertainment for the entire family. A special childrens program - Storytelling by We Tell Stories - Cuentos de la Familia will take place following ceremony. The library reopens with a new floor plan: fresh paint; carpet and shelving, self-check machines for faster customer service, up-to-date public service desks and ADA upgrades of public restrooms. This project is being funded by the Second Supervisorial District and the Office of Affirmative Action Compliance (OAAC).
