Rosemead Library to Close for Remodeling Project

The Rosemead Library is getting a new look. The library will close for remodeling on Tuesday, February 22. It is anticipated that the library will reopen in May 2011.

Holds pickup and book returns will be available from the Express library at Rosemead Library, 8800 Valley Blvd, Rosemead.

During this closed period, the library will receive a new teen and children’s area, lounge area and carpet; self check machines for customer self service; and new service desks. The remodeling project will include the relocation of the Asian Pacific Resource Center (APRC) to the Rosemead Library.

This project is being funded by First District Supervisor Gloria Molina and the County Library.

The nearest County libraries for customers seeking library service are:
Temple City Library, 5939 Golden West Avenue, Temple City
San Gabriel Library, 500 South Del Mar Avenue, San Gabriel

The Rosemead Library and Asian Pacific Resource Center are part of the County of Los Angeles Public Library. For more information, please call (562) 940-8415.
