After two years of construction and many years of planning, the City of West Hollywood is nearing completion of Phase I of the West Hollywood Park Master Plan which includes the building of the highly-anticipated new West Hollywood Library located at 625 N. San Vicente Boulevard (at Melrose).

The new state-of-the-art library facility features:

• Stuart Feigin Computer and Technology Areas
• Well Fargo Career Development Center
• Signature Collections including the Ron Shipton HIV Information Center and an Art and Design Collection
• Children's Theatre and Children's Area
• Public art installations from artists David Wiseman and Shepard Fairey
• Public Murals from artists Shepard Fairey, Retna and Kenny Scharf

• Certified Green Building with a LEED Silver rating
• Teen Area
• LGBT Area featuring the LGBT Collection
• International Languages Collections including Spanish and Russian materials
• Assistive Technology and Large Print Collections

• Friends of the Library Bookstore
• Public Computers and free Wi-Fi
• Books, movies and music for all ages
