| Using the Search Form |
The search form contains two drop-down menus and a keyword text field. The first drop-down menu lets you select whether to match All Terms you key into the keyword text field or Any Term (i.e. match any part of what you've keyed into the keyword text field).
The other menu gives you two choices on how you want your search results displayed:
To use the form, select your choices from the drop-down menus. The default selections are to match All Terms and to display the results in Standard Form. Key your search query keywords into the text field and click the "Search" button. Your results will then be listed.
The search engine will let you know if no results were yielded and give you an opportunity to search again. If you choose not to search again, you can use the navigation bar on the left side of the page to resume browsing the Los Angeles County Public Library website.
