iPad Mini and FitBit Drawing Rules for Adults

At the end of Summer Reading 2016, five iPad Minis and five FitBits will be awarded by random drawing to adults who signed up to participate in the Online Summer Reading Program. The County of Los Angeles Public Library would like to thank the County Library Foundation for sponsoring the drawing this year!

  1. We encourage all adult participants to read and review books during the summer reading program. A maximum of fifteen reviews submitted to the online Adult Summer Reading Program count as chances to win a iPad Mini or FitBit.
  2. The drawing will take place by August 18, 2016. Winners will be notified by phone or email and will need to pick up their prize in person at the County of Los Angeles Public Library of their choice.
  3. In order to claim the iPad Mini or FitBit, the customer must have a valid County of Los Angeles Public Library card in good standing (not blocked or barred) at the time of the drawing and present a picture ID.
  4. The winner grants permission for the Library to use their name in Library promotional materials.
  5. If the winner does not pick up their prize within three weeks of the notification date, they automatically forfeit their reward. The FitBit will be awarded to someone else.
  6. One iPad Mini and one FitBit will be awarded per Library Region.  A total of five iPad Minis and five FitBits will be awarded. The library regions are divided as follows:
    1. North Region Libraries: Acton/Agua Dulce, Agoura Hills, Antelope Valley Bookmobile, Castaic, La Canada Flintridge, La Crescenta, Lake Los Angeles,  Lancaster, Littlerock, Malibu, Quartz Hill, San Fernando, Santa Clarita Valley Bookmobile, Stevenson Ranch, Topanga Canyon, Westlake
    2. West Region Libraries: Avalon, Carson, Culver City Julian Dixon, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Gardena Mayme Dear, Hawthorne, Hermosa Beach, Lawndale, Lennox, Lloyd Taber-Marina Del Rey, Lomita, Manhattan Beach, Masao W. Satow, View Park, West Hollywood, Wiseburn, Woodcrest
    3. South Region Libraries: AC Bilbrew, Alondra, Angelo M. Iacoboni, Artesia, Clifton M. Brakensiek, Compton, East Rancho Dominguez, Florence, George Nye Jr., Graham, Hawaiian Gardens, Hollydale, La Mirada, Leland R. Weaver, Lynwood, Norwalk, Paramount, South Whittier, Willowbrook

  7. County of Los Angeles Public Library staff, immediate family members, and those living in the same household as a staff member are not eligible to win the iPad Mini or FitBit.

 

Weekly Drawing Rules for Adults

  1. We encourage all adult participants to read and review books during the online summer reading program. A maximum of three reviews submitted to the online Adult Summer Reading Program during the week count as chances to win weekly drawings.
  2. Weekly drawings will take place every Monday from June 6 - August 15, 2016. Winners will be notified by phone or email and will need to pick up their award in person at their County of Los Angeles Public Library.

 

Weekly Drawing Rules for Teens

  1. We encourage all teen participants to read and review books during the online summer reading program. Each review submitted to the online Teen Summer Reading Program during the week counts as a chance to win the weekly drawing.
  2. Weekly drawings will take place every Monday from June 6 - August 15, 2016. Winners will be notified by phone or email and will need to pick up their award in person at their County of Los Angeles Public Library.
