Teen Fit Series: Adult 101--Nutrition

In April and May we will be hosting a number of events designed to give teens the power to choose a fitter lifestyle. A healthy mind and a healthy body are the building blocks to a successful future. 

We will kick off the series with Adult 101: Nutrition. 

Learn the building blocks of nutrition by creating a yummy but balanced trail mix.

Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 4:00 PM:  Team building for Teen--Get physical with Coach Meijia.  Learn how to work together as a team.  This is a fun, fast paced and energetic program.  

Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 1:00 PM:  Teen Vegan Feast--Learn how to create tasty and healthy plant based meals.  You will never believe how delicious eating vegan can be.  

Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 4:00 PM:  Financial Planning for Teens--Being fiscally fit is just as important as physical fitness.  Learn how to manage money today for a successful fiscal future.

Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 4:00 PM:  Bento Box Cooking for Teens--learn how to put together a healthy Japanese style bento box.  

The Teen Fit Series of programs are free for Teens 12-17 years old.

Parents: Food will be served at these programs, a list of ingredients wil be available at the program.

This series is sponsored by the Fifth Supervisorial District for Girl Empowerment.

All teens are encouraged to participate.
