Have you ever wondered...

  • what the world would be like if we suddenly lost all technology?
  • what if phones, computers, TVs, tablets, etc. all stopped working?

Think Hunger Games, but without the oppressive government pitching teens against each other in an over-the-top reality show. That’s a bit much, yeah?

In preparation for the library’s Teen Tech Week, March 10-16, we would like to challenge you to go tech-less for a little while. You get to pick how long, but it must be for a minimum of at least five hours. Participants who go tech-less and complete our online survey (irony intended) will be entered to win one of 50 giveaway bags.

If you're experiencing technology withdrawal

  1. Don't panic!
  3. Take deep, calming breaths. Tell yourself, "I can do this. While I appreciate what technology does for me, I can go without for a little while."
  5. Pick a task from the When Technology Fails list & try it out.
  7. Repeat steps 1 - 3.
