Upcoming Workshop at Sunkist Library in La Puente – Jan 2016

Everybody has a story to tell. Bring your true stories to life in a nonfiction writing workshop led by long-time journalist and author Sam Quinones. We’re pleased to announce our sixth Tell Your True Tale at the Library Writing Workshop! The next 4-week workshop will be held at the Sunkist Library in La Puente on Saturdays at 10:30 am: January 16, 23, 30 and February 13, 2016. Because space is limited, students must apply for a spot in the workshop. Please complete the application below and submit by January 6, 2016. The next 4-week workshop will be held at the Chicano Resource Center in the East Los Angeles Library on Saturdays at 10:30 am: November 14 & 21 and December  5 & 12, 2015. Because space is limited, students must apply for a spot in the workshop. Please complete the application and submit by Oct 26, 2015 October 30, 2015 (deadline extended) Participants will be selected from the pool applications and notified by November 2, 2015.
